Born and raised in Santa Rosa, Kevin Lane grew up in a family of builders — contractors, roofers, and landscapers — and began working on job sites alongside his father at just nine years old. From those early experiences, he developed a deep respect for craftsmanship and the value of quality work, a dedication he now carries into both his career and family life.
After exploring several other career paths, Kevin returned to construction with a renewed focus on mastering his craft. He apprenticed under a variety of seasoned contractors, gaining extensive hands-on experience across every phase of residential construction.
In 2020, Kevin became a licensed contractor and founded KB Lane Construction, specializing in residential remodeling and transforming everyday spaces into beautiful, functional homes. At KB Lane Construction, we do every project the way we would do it for our own home, keeping the client’s best interests at the forefront. Over the past five years, Kevin has built a strong reputation through word of mouth, known for his meticulous attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to client satisfaction.
Kevin remains deeply involved in every project — from whole-home remodels to kitchens and bathrooms — ensuring that each detail meets his exacting standards. Supported by a skilled and trusted team of subcontractors, he brings both craftsmanship and project management expertise to every job.
